On this page you can find everything you need to know to apply for the CUNJC Cambridge Summer School 2026. Applications are now open for our August 2026 sessions. Choose from 12 courses in Data Science, AI, Economics, and Finance. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds with an interest in economics, business, finance, data science, machine learning, AI, mathematics, statistics, engineering, and related fields.

Entry requirements

Grades
Minimum recommended GPA 3.2 / B+ (or equivalent)

Maths / stats prerequisites
Basic knowledge of calculus and probability (refreshed in the online Prep Course)

English language proficiency 
Accepted tests and minimum scores: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 90, CET-4 550, CET-6 500 (or equivalent)

• CV, if you wish to be considered for a scholarship

Interview & decision
Within two weeks of submitting your application, you’ll have a short online interview with one of our instructors. We’ll then let you know the final decision within five days.

How many sessions to attend

• Choose to attend just one or both sessions.
•  Session one is held on 1–16 August.
•  Session two is held on 16–30 August.

Which courses to study

For every session you choose to attend select one course from a list of twelve available courses we offer as part of your Academic Programme.  

What room to stay in

Choose to stay in a single occupancy room or a twin room, shared with one other student on the programme. All rooms are en-suite and located in Selwyn College. All room types include daily breakfast and lunch.

What is included in the fees

Lectures, classes, projects supervisions, keynote lectures, careers talks, leadership coaching, admissions workshops. Ensuite room at Selwyn College (single or twin shared with one other student), daily breakfast and lunch in dining hall. Welcome event, two formal dinners, receptions with speakers, tours of Cambridge and colleges, punting, day trip to London, garden party / graduation ceremony. 

What is not included in the fees

Travel to and from Cambridge (including flights, trains and airport transfers), visa costs and related application fees (where required), travel and health insurance. 

Scholarships

A limited number of competitive scholarships in the amount of 5% of the full fees is available if you apply before 31 March. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and decisions are based on academic merit and overall profile of the candidates. To be considered, select the relevant option in the application form and upload your CV.
