Cambridge-style teaching

Cambridge-style small-group teaching (max 15), daily lectures (1.5h) and classes (1.5h) with Python/R labs on real datasets and immediate feedback, and mentored team projects (3h).

12 two-week courses

Courses in Quantitative Methods, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Economics and Finance. Two weeks of modern curricula aligned with postgraduate study and data-driven careers.

Team projects

Two modules per course, one per week, each with a mentored sprint project in teams of four, applying class tools to real data and problems, delivering a portfolio-ready report and showcase.

Applied data skills

Master applied analytics for a data-led world: wrangle and visualise, model and forecast, test causality, and communicate insights—using Python/R workflows on real datasets.

For university students

Designed for undergraduates aged 18+, with basic maths background, GPA 3.2+, and English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5. Ideal for UK/US masters pathways and data-centred roles.

Cambridge college life

Hosted at Selwyn College, Cambridge: en-suite rooms (single/twin), college facilities, meals in Dining Hall, formal dinners, social events, Cambridge and London tours, punting, museums.

Academic programme courses

We run two sessions in Cambridge: Session One, 1–16 August, and Session Two, 16–30 August. In each session we offer all 12 of our courses. You can join us for one or both sessions, choosing one course per session. Every course runs for two weeks and combines lectures, small-group classes and team projects.

Mathematical Methods
Calculus, linear algebra, and optimisation as modelling tools in economics and data science.  
Statistical Methods
Probability and statistics for empirical analysis, including estimation and hypothesis testing.
Causal Data Science
RCTs, IVs, DiD and quasi-experiments for causal inference and treatment effects estimation.
Econometrics
Regression analysis and maximum likelihood to estimate statistical models and test theories.
Machine Learning
Supervised and unsupervised learning to train and evaluate prediction & classification models.
Artificial Intelligence
Reasoning, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning for intelligent systems.

Economics & Finance courses

Microeconomics
Game theory, decision-making and information to analyse strategies and incentives.
Macroeconomics
Growth, business cycles, and policy to study how economies evolve and are managed.
Network Economics
Network structure and diffusion processes to model systemic connections and spillovers.
Complexity Economics
Equilibrium, emergence, and agent-based models to understand systemic risk and crises.
Quantitative Finance
Time-series modelling and derivatives pricing to analyse and forecast financial market behaviour.
